Lisa is a lyricist, bookwriter, and playwright based in New York City, by way of Illinois and Virginia. As a writer, her unique voice blends sharp wit and pathos, creating work that challenges conventions and resonates with humor and humanity.

She is a member of the world-renowned BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Advanced Workshop, and alumna of William & Mary, and a contributing writer for the viral satire site Reductress. Her work has been produced Off-Broadway, featured by Playbill, and seen on stages from Los Angeles to Paris and beyond.

Her credits include: lyrics and book for The Radium Girls: An American Horror Musical (directed by Tony winner Marissa Jaret Winokur, NAMT Finalist); lyrics for A Never-Ending Line (Off-Broadway); lyrics and book for We Are The Benjamin Harrison High School Horse Girls! (film script repped at WME, developed through Out of the Box Theatrics New Works Series); lyrics and book for Forever Noon (Pendragon Theater Artist Residency); lyrics and book for Sick (Best Book at SoundBites Festival); and Party People (Samuel French Off-Off- Broadway Festival). She worked on Comedy Central’s The President Show and has written silly promo scripts for new Netflix content.
